"We originally bought this house because it is only 4 minutes to the back entrance of SAS so the commute to work was awesome. We've loved living close to the interstate and being able to go down 2 exits to Crossroads for all our errands. Urban Park in Cary, or Powell Park in Raleigh are about 5 minutes away so it is nice as a young family to have playgrounds nearby. We love having easy access to Crabtree Mall. Another hidden gem for this area is the back trail-heads of Umstead Park along Trinity Rd. There are some great walking/biking trails there and along Reedy Creek where the NC State farm lands provide a picturesque backdrop.
As for the location of our house inside the neighborhood, you just can't beat a cul-de-sac lot! Also, our large backyard is private and surrounded by trees. Unlike other houses in the neighborhood, it does not backup to NC State property. Our property line extends past the grass into a tree line buffer. Overall, the neighborhood and the house lot have been perfect for us!"
